
Refund & Cancellation Policy — UFO DETAILING
Your satisfaction is important to us. UFO Detailing is committed to providing high-quality mobile detailing services across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. To maintain fairness, efficiency, and respectful scheduling for all clients, we have established the following Cancellation and Refund Policies.

1. Cancellations
1.1 Appointment Cancellations
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, customers must notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

“No-show” appointments—where we arrive and are unable to access the vehicle—may be charged up to 50% of the total service cost.
This policy protects our technicians’ time and allows us to accommodate other customers fairly.
2. Weather-Related Cancellations
We operate year-round, including winter. However, severe weather (freezing temperatures, heavy snow, ice, thunderstorms, unsafe wind conditions) may require us to delay or reschedule your appointment.

If WE must cancel due to weather, no fees apply.

If YOU choose to cancel due to weather when service is still possible, it may be considered a standard cancellation.
Safety always comes first.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 All Sales Are Final
Because detailing is a service based on technician labor, time, and materials:
👉 All sales are final. Refunds are not issued once a service has been completed.
3.2 Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our work and want every client to be happy with the results.

If you are not satisfied, please inform us within 24 hours of service completion.

We will gladly return to address the concern or correct any reasonable issues at no additional cost.
We cannot address concerns reported after 24 hours, or if we were not given the opportunity to review the vehicle at completion.
4. Extra Dirty Fee
Vehicles in extremely poor condition (heavy pet hair, stains, mold, excessive dirt, trash, bodily fluids, food spills, etc.) may require significantly more time, labor, or specialized equipment.
UFO Detailing reserves the right to apply an additional $50–$150 extra dirty fee, depending on severity.
This will always be communicated to the customer before starting the service.
5. Mold, Biohazard & Severe Interior Conditions
For safety and sanitation reasons:

Mold, mildew, vomit, urine, feces, blood, bodily fluids, and strong odors require specialized services, charged separately.
We do not offer refunds for these services due to the time, chemicals, and equipment required.
6. Access to Vehicle
When we arrive:

The vehicle must be unlocked

Keys must be accessible
-
The vehicle must be in an area where we can safely work
If we cannot access the vehicle or location, it may be treated as a no-show, incurring a fee of up to 50% of the service cost.
7. Weather, Parking, and Working Conditions
We require a safe, legal workspace:

Driveway, garage, parking lot, or authorized area

Enough space to open doors fully

No illegal parking zones
-
No dangerous conditions (ice, hazards, etc.)
If we cannot safely perform the job, it may be necessary to reschedule or cancel with applicable fees.
8. Damage & Liability
UFO Detailing is fully insured.
We take every reasonable step to protect your vehicle, equipment, and property.
However, we cannot be held responsible for:

Pre-existing damage

Loose trims, knobs, or components

Extremely fragile/old interior materials
-
Electrical issues unrelated to detailing

Delicate or aftermarket modifications
If accidental damage occurs while in our care, we will notify the customer immediately and follow proper resolution procedures according to our insurance.
